Get ready! "Give us some space!" In the James Howe Gallery located in the first floor of the Vaughn-Eames building is housing a new exhibit. "Give Us Some Space: student work from the interior design program" is debuting in the gallery. A mix of unique pieces of restaurant, cultural, and residential designs were spread on the walls and displays of the room. The art pieces were divided between freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors.

Firstly, having good study habits is a must -- when preparing for a class, reviewing for an exam, or completing homework. Creating a resume is very important when someone, specifically students, are looking for a job. There are three types of resumes: chronological, functional chronological, and electronic. The first prioritizes work experience. It is mostly used by college students and graduates. The second, functional chronological, prioritizes certain skills that are in high demand for that job. Those who do not have a lot of work experience tend to stay away from this type of resume. Electronic resumes are created using plain text so that it can be electronically scanned on to the computer.

Getting in to graduate school takes a lot of time and studying. In order to attend some schools, students will have to take the Graduate Record Examination (GRE).The exam is used as a way to measure a student's intellectual aptitude and how likely they would be able to succeed during their years at graduate school. Getting a high score takes hard work and students should be relatively devoted to this. Students are eligible to take it in October or in December. Students can always take the test more than once; it is even advised to do so.

Students familiar with Kean Dollar reimbursement for weekend course enrollment will find that changes for the 2011-12 academic year have changed. Students enrolled in weekend courses this year will receive a partial credit cost returned to them in the form of Kean Dollars, accessible for use through the student ID card, after the last day of course-drop period has passed.

With the school year closing, some students are worried about the availability of jobs open to them once they graduate. Others may have had the opportunity to already have a job lined up due to opportunistic internships or previous work experience. However, students do not want to fall into a job that is not interesting or completely unrelated to their graduating major. It is the key "dream job" that many students hope to find after graduation. It is dream of a job that intrigues students and leaves them hungry for more.

On Thursday, April 28, 2011, the Otaku Anime Society will be hosting the Cosplay Fashion Show at 7 p.m. in the University Center Little Theatre. Members of the organization will be participating in a live performance. They will be presenting cosplay during the night as different characters from the popular anime worlds of Pokemon, Kingdom Hearts, Fullmetal Alchemist and other popular anime characters.
