PITMAN, N.J. (10/28/07) - Freshman Jordan Cagle (Mt. Holly, N.J.) earned New Jersey Athletic Conference Defensive Rookie of the Week after helping lead the team in tackles against William Paterson University. In the game, he finished with 11 total tackles, including eight solo stops and one sack for a loss of three yards. It was the third straight game Cagle recorded 10 or more tackles, as he became the second Cougar this season to earn defensive rookie of the week honors.

Cagle currently ranks seventh on the team in tackles and is 37th in the NJAC, averaging 5.0 tackles per game.
