Wayne, N.J. (10/24/07) - Kean University came from behind as senior Konrad Kruczek (Clifton, N.J.) tallied two goals to defeat the host Pioneers, 3-1, Wednesday evening in soggy men's soccer action at William Paterson University. With the win the Cougars improve to 9-10 overall and 4-5 in New Jersey Athletic Conference play. The NJAC win also keeps Kean's post-season potential alive. The Cougars will learn their fate tomorrow as The College of New Jersey travels to Rowan University at 7:00 p.m.

In tonight's action, the Pioneers (8-9-1, 2-7 NJAC) got on the board with thirty seconds remaining in the first half for a 1-0 advantage heading into halftime. Just three minutes later, Kruczek recorded the game-winner again off a Saintil assist. The Cougars held a large 17-7 advantage in shots while edging WPU, 4-1 in corners.
