(10/3/09) - The Kean University volleyball team concluded action at its own Kean Invitational, finishing the weekend a perfect 4-0 after defeating Brooklyn College (25-9, 25-11, 25-11) and Lehman College (25-19, 26-24, 25-18) on Saturday afternoon. Sophomore Jamie Sacco (Park Ridge, N.J.) led the Cougars with a combined 17 kills in the two matches, while rookie Katie Schuh (Mount Holly, N.J.) had 10 kills, seven digs and five service aces.

Also in the wins, sophomore Yesenia Velasquez (North Arlington, N.J.) recorded team-highs with 41 assists, 16 digs and nine service aces.

The Cougars return to New Jersey Athletic Conference action on Tuesday, October 6, when they travel to Rutgers-Newark for a match at 7 p.m.
