The return of the Psi Sigma Phi Multicultural Fraternity, Inc. Charity Ball to the Kean University campus comes with a recurring driving force behind the success of the event: humanitarian effort. On November 15, 2011, at 7:30 p.m

The theme for the charity ball is not governed by random selection, but rather reflects the very purpose of the event. All donations collected to enter the event, and throughout, will be designated to rebuild the roof of a Kean student whose home in Jamaica suffered heavy damage during Hurricane Irene. After extensive research and communication with contractors, the best estimate given to fund the repair was $2000 -- thus became the goal for the Charity Ball. Any donations collected that exceed this goal will be used towards purchasing a ticket for FolkesFolkes

Attendees of the Charity Ball will be able to enjoy reggae music and food with international origins. In order to achieve the goal, the organizations are asking for a minimum donation of five dollars, but implore attendees to offer any additional monetary donations.
