Following the event, the audience was encouraged to purchase Invisible Children merchandise to help contribute to the cause. The audience could purchase bracelets, t-shirts and action kits. After the video was shown, Sharon, one of the invisible children, walked on stage and told the audience, "This place is amazing! I am so blessed to be here. I think every African should have the opportunity to come here." Sharon thanked the audience for taking time out of their day and watching the film. Sharon stated, "It was not easy. I witnessed killings and abductions on a regular basis. I was never able to have the dream of being someone because I feared I would be abducted or killed." She reassured the audience by telling them all the hard work paid off with Invisible Children and for a period of time it was peaceful. Sharon did not have the finances to attend college and everything she had was destroyed from the wars. She obtained a scholarship to attend college and graduated with a degree in computer science.
