Sign up for the leadership conference 2013

The Leadership Conferences are created to give student group leaders from different student organizations with a training program to help ease into their roles for the prospective academic year. Some of the conference goals are to give student the tools to be responsible leaders for their organizations. The conferences provide students with knowledge and abilities to make their organizations a successfully one.

The groups are as followed: Group A is on Wednesday, May 29, 2013 and Group B is on Thursday, May 30, 2013. Both Group A and B take place on the Kean University main campus. Group C is on Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at Kean Ocean. If students do not attend the conference, it may threaten the students' group recognition for the fall 2013 semester. If students are unable to attend these summer workshops, they must attend various workshops held throughout the fall semester.

Signing up for the 2013Leadership Conference requires a visit to CougarLink. To start, visit the Kean page at www.kean.edu/KU/Student-Group-Leadership-Conference-2013. Scroll down to the blue box with "Register Click Here" in white font. Students will be taken to a screen to log in; follow the instructions until successfully logged in.  Afterwards, students will be taken to the registration form page. Fill out the name and student ID section, as well as the preferred email address, cell phone number, shirt size, and conference group.

Click "Next". At the next page, fill out the primary student group's name and position, secondary student group's name and position [if applicable], and answer a question regarding previous attendance. Add comments and notes if needed. Click "Next" again. Another page loads for a Dinner RSVP and conference workshop requests. Submit the registration form and students are ready to attend the Leadership Conference of 2013.
