Picking Up The Pieces
Megan Lovelace

Last year in the month of October, Hurricane Sandy ripped through the east coast with her wicked wrath. She caused millions of dollars worth of damage and still, a year later, there is still much to be done. To help lighten the burden, the center for leadership and service is holding a disaster relief trip to Union Beach, New Jersey on Tuesday, October 29, 2013.

The Union Beach area was been greatly affected by Sandy and still needs volunteers to help put back the pieces of what was broken. Volunteers can be skilled or unskilled. All who attend will assist skilled volunteers with a range of home repairs and landscaping. All volunteers who help will benefit homeowners affected by Hurricane Sandy. Space is limited so please register today for a spot! Lunch will be provided along with transportation. The bus will depart from Wilkins Theater bus stop at 1:00 p.m. and will return at 4:00 p.m.
