Are you tired of the summer heat and ready for autumn? Join the Liberty Hall Museum for their Apple Harvest Time from September- October. This is a great time to enjoy the fall weather with your family from home or your new Kean University family.

“Liberty hall loves hosting Apple Harvest Time from September- October because we enjoy seeing people having fun apple-picking on the property and having a great time with each other,” Lacey Bongard, coordinator of Liberty Hall Museum programs, stated.

Last year’s Apple Harvest Time was a great success. Bongard looks forward to helping host this event just like last year, “We hope this Apple Harvest is just as great as last year!”

It is important to call before visiting the garden. “…Call us at (908-527-0400) to make sure the apples are ripe to pick before their visit,” encouraged Bongard.

Bongard went on to say, “It is $5 per person (Kean University students and faculty are FREE with their IDs) and then $8 for a small bag, $10 for a large bag, to fill with apples. The apple orchard is open Monday- Saturday from 10 a.m.- 4 p.m.”
