In the mall, Santa Claus sits at the front of an endless four hour line full of anxious people. December is that one and only time of year Santa is around, but instead of standing in line at the mall, Liberty Hall Museum will be hosting Breakfast with Santa. On Sunday, December 21, 2014 reserve a seat to dine with Santa.

The breakfast will be for two hours, but there will also be two different sessions: the first session will be 9 a.m. - 11 a.m. and the second 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 pm. Admission for children is 23 dollars and adults 28 dollars. A buffet breakfast, picture with Santa, and a tour of Liberty Hall Museum, which is decorated for the holidays, will all be included. “We would just like this year's Breakfast with Santa to be as successful as last years,” encouraged Lacey Bongard, coordinator of museum programs for Liberty Hall Museum.

Liberty Hall Museum looks forward to having this event every year. December is the time of year when families tend to come together more often. “Breakfast with Santa is a wonderful tradition for families and we wanted to offer it so families can start their own traditions with us at Liberty Hall,” explained Bongard. Keeping up with tradition, Liberty Hall Museum has hosted Breakfast with Santa for the last two years.

Seeing the joy on all of the children’s faces is the true motivation behind the annual Breakfast with Santa. “[What] we would hope to accomplish, from this event, is to spread joy to everyone with a special visit from Santa. We love seeing all the kids excited when Santa walks into the room!” exclaimed Bongard. Christmas is one of their favorite holiday events and they look forward to having an overwhelming turn out.  “We would like people to know that this is a wonderful event to bring the entire family to! However, spots fill up fast so please make sure to call as soon as possible to make your reservation,” assured Bongard.

All the money raised from the breakfast will go towards supporting all ongoing historical programming and restoration for the museum.
