Top Knotch Day Parade!

Thursday, May 3 Kean University Top Knotch, held a day parade to showcase their group and offer students with a fun day on the warm day. Held outside of the Miron Student Center, the Top Knotch Day Parade offered fresh squeezed lemonade, food, popcorn, cotton candy, activities and performances by the KU Dolls. The event was funded by Student Organization.

During professor Jeremiah Sullivan's public relations class at 1:55 p.m. Wednesdays, students are shown the ways of the world in the PR field from an experienced professional. In Room 353 of the Center for Academic Success (CAS) Wednesday, April 18, from 2:15 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., this class was just a little bit different, as four members of the Coyne Public Relations firm who are graduates of Kean University and former students of Sullivan, informed, answered questions and lectured to a class of 20-plus communications and public relations students about the everyday life of a PR employee and the realities of their positions.

This 12-hour dance festival, complete with games, prizes, performances, informational booths and a multitude of music was the hottest attraction on the Kean campus from noon to midnight.

Now Boarding Mu Airlines: R.A.C.E.-ing For Diversity!

Multicultural sorority Mu Sigma Upsilon hosted yet another one of their successful events celebrating diversity and inclusion from all walks of life, called Recognizing and Celebrating Ethnicities (R.A.C.E) on the evening of Monday, April 16, 2018. Known as the first multicultural sorority in the nation and a founding member of the National Multicultural Greek Council (NMGC), this night was another showcase of the sorority's morals representing uniqueness and pride in every cultures and ethnicity stretching across the globe.

On April 17, Kean University will host Abraham H. Foxman from Manhattan’s Museum of Jewish Heritage in a conversation titled Is Antisemitism Respectable Again? This event, which will be held in the Miron Student Center Little Theatre at 7:30 p.m., is only the first of a series of events taking place throughout April in honor of Genocide Awareness Month.
