(2/26/07) - Senior righty Joe Augustine (Highland Park, N.J.) was selected as the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Pitcher of the Week as announced by the conference office Monday, February 26th through all games thus far this season.Augustine earns this week's honor after propelling the Cougars to their first win of the season on Saturday, February 24th at Stevens Institute of Technology. Kean, who defeated the Ducks 4-0, will now wait for mother-nature to play their next scheduled contest.

Augustine tossed eight and a third innings of shutout ball allowing just one hit. That lone hit came with one out in the bottom of the ninth. Along the way, he also scattered two walks and fanned 13.
