Pitman, N.J. (10/2/07) - Freshman setter Ivana Kapetanovic (East Brunswick, N.J.) has been selected as the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Rookie of the Week as announced by the conference on Tuesday, October 2nd. Kapetanovic earns NJAC Rookie of the Week honors after averaging 31.3 assists per match in a 2-1 week for the Cougars.

She opened the week by tallying 15 assists and three digs in a 3-0 NJAC loss to Rowan. Four days later, she registered 39 assists and five digs in a 3-1 win over St. Elizabeth, before wrapping up the week with 40 assists and four digs in a 3-1 victory over John Jay.

Kapetanovic currently ranks sixth in the NJAC in assists with an average of 5.18 per game.
