SYRACUSE, N.Y. (10/07/07) - The Kean University women's soccer team dropped a 2-1 decision to NCAA Division II LeMoyne College on Sunday afternoon. Sophomore forward Jen Behrens (Ringwood, N.J.) tallied the Cougars (7-4-2) lone goal in the opening half.

LeMoyne(8-6) took an early 1-0 lead just 2:22 into the contest, as freshman forward Riane Fletcher (Lisbon, N.Y.) scored off the assist from sophomore forward Megan O'Shea (East Syracuse, N.Y.).

The Dolphins scored what would prove to be the game-winner in the 20th minute, when O'Shea found the upper right corner of the net.

Behrens scored her third goal of the season in the 32nd minute off the pass from sophomore midfielder Kelly Rigano (Scotch Plains, N.J.).

In goal, freshman keeper Leandra Russo (Galloway, N.J.) made nine saves.

The Cougars return to New Jersey Athletic Conference action on Wednesday, October 10, when they host Montclair State University at 7:30 p.m.
