There is good news for current and prospective graduate students at the Kean University Nathan Weiss Graduate College. There is now a comprehensive plan for students who enroll in 12 or more credits during both summer sessions. The new plan offers considerable savings for students in addition to helping them complete their degrees at a faster pace.

For classes taken during the summer sessions, students are normally charged per credit; $680 per credit for New Jersey residents and $804 per credit for non-New Jersey residents. Under the comprehensive tuition plan, when a student takes at least 12 credits over the two summer sessions, New Jersey residents are charged one flat rate of $7,075 and $9,083.50 for non-New Jersey residents. This is a $1,084.50 savings for New Jersey residents who enroll in 12 credits and a $564.50 savings for non-New Jersey students. For those New Jersey residents who enroll in 15 credits, the savings is $3,124.50. Non-New Jersey residents save $2,976.50. Students who wish to take 15 credits must first seek approval from the Dean of the Nathan Weiss Graduate College. A comprehensive rate plan has been established for those programs that have special tuition pricing.

Students who qualify for financial aid may receive federal unsubsidized and graduate plus loans.

The Nathan Weiss Graduate College offers about 80 master's, doctoral, certificate and professional diploma programs. Students have the option to study online and as non-matriculated students for those who wish to take courses for personal growth or to satisfy requirements for other programs or degrees.

There are two doctoral programs offered: Urban Leadership (Ed.D.) and Combined and Integrated School and Clinical Psychology (Psy.D.). Some other programs that are offered are: professional in marriage and family therapy; master of science in biotechnology; master of business administration (M.B.A.) - global business administration; master of arts in communication studies; master of arts in counseling; master of arts in early childhood education; master of arts in English and writing studies; master of science in occupational therapy; master of public administration; master of social work; and master o arts in speech language pathology.
