Brandon Gervais is a freshman English education double major. Brandon works as a Staff Writer for The Cougar’s Byte as of November 2017. He is a part of the Leadership Institute as a Bronze leader. In his free time, he enjoys reading and competitive indoor color guard. After his years at Kean, he hopes to become a high school teacher and coach color guard.
Monday, Feb. 12, the new Child Care and Development Center had a ribbon cutting ceremony to officially open its new location. The Child Care and Development Center has gone through many changes over the past few months with the moving of it to Downs Hall, but it has found its new home.
The Graduate and Part-Time Student Council's application to be a part of the executive board and the council are available! Positions open are for the executive board and representative positions. The deadline for the application is Friday March 2 at 2 p.m.

Interested in movie scripts, films, and writing? Then check out the Screenwriter's Society club on campus! The Screenwriter's Society is a new organization on campus that welcomes students at Kean University who are interested in script writing and film in general.
The Kean University Foundation works to sponsor the education of Kean students ranging from incoming freshmen to undergraduates and graduate students. The scholarships available may be tied to specific majors at Kean or for any major. The requirements are based on academic merit.
The articles written in The Cougar's Byte are written and researched by students of Kean. They work through a process of coming up with story ideas, getting the ideas approved, writing the articles, editing them and publishing. The Cougar's Byte is looking for new staff writers.
