(09/14/20 10:27pm)

Due to the ongoing health crisis, Kean has moved much instruction to Blackboard. Though this method is helping to save health and lives, it does add a bit of frustration and stress, as there are students and faculty members who are having trouble navigating remote learning. Fortunately, it isn't too difficult to work through Blackboard, once properly learned.

Throughout September, the Human Rights Institute kicks off the fall with poignant and compelling events for all, provided virtually using Zoom.

Virtual Mental Health Week

(04/28/20 1:28am)

As the semester begins to wind down, students aren’t just experiencing the normal pressures of deadlines and final exams. Because of COVID-19, this year is different. Not only has the Kean community been thrown into a new "normal" with little preparedness, the usual ways of coping have likely been taken away due to social restrictions. It isn't just students who are feeling this squeeze; it's faculty, staff, family members, friends, counselors, and everyone one would typically rely on for support. Because of this, the Kean Counseling Center will be hosting a Virtual Mental Health Week beginning Monday, April 27 through Friday, May 1. The programming will take place on Instagram, so make sure to follow @keancounselingcenter. Each day will have a specific focus, with tips and resources related to mental health. In addition, videos showcasing Counseling Center staff, Kean University’s Active Minds Club and Kean Yoga will be posted!
