The Greek Senate has officially elected their new executive board members for the 2020-2021 academic year. The new members promise to fulfill the mission to unite the Kean Greek community, continuing the legacy of the members who came before.

Research Days is held by the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs (ORSP), whose goal is to expand the level and engagement of student-faculty research. This event is one of the ways that they encourage students to think beyond their limits and show their research abilities. With learning now being remote, ORSP recognizes that now more than ever, students need the opportunity to think creatively and expand their knowledge, which is why Research Days 2020 is going to be held online.

As courses at Kean have transitioned to online learning during the latter half of the Spring semester, Supplementary Instruction (SI) has migrated to remote services as well, continuing to provide Kean students with peer-directed help in challenging classes that which contributes to better grades and a well-rounded learning experience.

During this challenging time, Student Health Services (SHS) remains accessible to all matriculated Kean University students. They will continue to operate on a remote telehealth model until at least the conclusion of the Summer I session. Leadership is not a responsibility that is given to just anyone. It is about the growth and impact that certain people can make in their community, which defines true leaders. Student Organization Executive Board President Lindsey Gonzalez has truly made an impact on the Kean community with her leadership qualities, and will continue to do so, as she is officially sworn in as the new executive president of Student Organization.

Student Organization has a wide variety of events planned for the rest of the semester to get students more involved and connected with one another. From hands on activities to watching live webinars through Zoom or Google Hangouts Meet or simply watching a movie through Netflix Party, Student Organization aims to deliver an interactive experience so students have something to look forward to instead of worrying about the online course load from their classes.

On Tuesday, Feb. 25, a team of current and former Kean University students and faculty were nominated for The 63rd Annual New York Emmy Awards. Their innovative short film, "Liberty Hall 360: Revolutionary Wedding," recreates events of colonial Elizabethtown in interactive VR at the Liberty Hall Museum.
