The Involvement Center is a hub of resources on campus to help the over 140 student groups excel to their greatest potential. Located in the Miron Student Center, Room 303, the Involvement Center is a space where student groups are able to meet with their group members and collaborate on ideas. Additionally, student groups can come here with any questions or if they are in need of assistance in any way, and an involvement specialist will guide them to success.

At Kean University, students are given many opportunities to improve socially, academically or physically. Moreover, Gourmet Dining at Kean hosts the Biggest Loser Competition to allow students to partake on a life changing journey. The competition is not just based at Kean but is hosted across 16 other participating campuses.

College is the time to explore different aspects of life to find friends and find oneself. One of the pinnacle programs that really brings this sentiment into fruition is the study abroad program at Kean. This program allows individuals to explore different parts of the world, see things from a new perspective and also help students work toward getting their degrees. While being exposed to other cultures and ways of life for either a full year, single semester or an even shorter amount of time with the Travelearn program, students can become more well rounded and make strides toward their education.

To recognize the efforts of Kean’s high-achieving students, this school houses a variety of honor societies in which students can seek membership. Because of the diversity in the missions and focuses of each individual society, there is likely at least one organization where each and every student can pursue membership.

This semester the International Student Association (ISA) teamed up with Asian Studies, Wenzhou-Kean Student Association (WKSA) and the Indian Cultural Club to create the fourth annual Holi Festival. The Holi Festival took place Thursday, April 13 from 3 to 6 p.m. on the basketball courts by the Miron Student Center (MSC).

Hosted by Student Organization, the sophomore class, the junior class and P.U.L.S.E, Kean Karnival took place Monday, April 29 from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. on the Miron Student Center (MSC) Patio. The event was filled with music, carnival games, food and activities for students to enjoy right before the finals season hits.

The conference featured biology and health professionals who spoke on different subjects to expand students' knowledge of their future career prospects.

Professor Allison Edgley's Small Group Communication class came together to create K2O, an event that raised money to donate to the American Red Cross and collected cases of water to give to Kean's Cougar Pantry.

Every spring semester, the Greek Senate hosts the Greek Olympics, in which the fraternities and sororities on campus get to compete against each other. They compete in various athletic and fun events to reach an overall winner, one for the fraternities and one for the sororities. While the organizations are competing against each other, ultimately the Greek Olympics spreads a sense of unity between the organizations because it gives the members a chance at a friendly competition.

Every year, the Greek Senate hosts the annual Greek Senate banquet for all the fraternities and sororities to attend. It is here that the Greek organizations are recognized for their achievements in areas such as academics, community service, involvement and much more. This year, it was held April 25 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Galloping Hill Caterers.
